Hans Zimmer and His Cosmic Sound

Have you ever had an artist with whom you associate a specific vibe or scene? I recently saw the Northern Lights for the first time and realized that I associate Hans Zimmer with a theatrical view of space. As I mentioned in my previous post about associating music with memories, I’ve also come to realize that I can create vivid memories of my stargazing through Hans Zimmer’s incredible compositions.

As I stared in awe at the incredible view of our cosmic world, I decided to put on Hans Zimmer’s “Time” and “Cornfield Chase.” Although it sounds like a simple thing to do, it elevated the experience of what I saw to exponential levels.

Stargazing has always felt like a healing moment for rest and reflection, and adding this element of awe-struck composition made it feel that much more otherworldly. It made me wonder what soundtracks others would add to their lives to make it feel that much more beautiful.

So many of us get stuck in the confines of daily life that we forget how lucky we are to be here and to experience the beauty of life and sound.

Some days may be cloudy, but there is always light between the clouds. If any of you have the means to, I challenge you to find a space where there is no light pollution and simply look up at the sky, listen to a track that’s inspiring, and lose yourself in the stunning beauty of our universe.

What artist, album, or song did you put on when you immersed yourself in the cosmic scene? Did it feel more or less meaningful to have a soundtrack to your experience?

This was definitely one of my shorter and unplanned posts, but I would love to hear anyones thoughts if they tried it….

Are these pictures great? No… Definitely not. I’m not a photographer, but these photos are symbolic of a beautiful phenomenon that I, as a simple music lover could never capture.

As always,

Stay fabulous…
